AN inquest has opened into the death of a Southampton man who was found unresponsive in a hotel room.
John Hall, 32, of Lebanon Road, died at Leonardo Hotel in Charlotte Place on January 1, an inquest heard.
The inquest into Mr Hall's death was opened by area coroner Jason Pegg at Winchester Coroners' Court on Monday, January 13.

Mr Pegg said that Mr Hall had checked in to the hotel at approximately 2pm on December 31. Cleaners found him lying on the floor of his room unresponsive on January 1.
The preliminary cause of death has been given as hanging.
The inquest will be heard in full at Winchester Coroners' Court on October 20, 2025.
