The worst of the cold has passed in Southampton, as temperatures are set to almost reach double digits next week.
After facing sub-zero colds last week and even being treated to snow in parts of the New Forest, the city is set to see some sun according to Met Office's weather forecast.
The weather experts say that Monday will see a high of 6C, though it will still 'feel like' 2C.
Tuesday will see more sun in the afternoon and temperatures will reach 8C by 3pm.
On January 15 and 16, there will be mist in the mornings until 7am, and from there sunny spells are expected until it sets at 4.30pm.
Temperatures will then almost reach double digits on January 17 and 18 and a high of 9C is forecast on both days, with the heavy rain and snow of last week's cold snap nowhere to be seen.
