A car was gutted by flames after a blaze at a petrol station.
The vehicle caught alight while being filled with fuel, police say.
Officers from the New Forest were called to a service station in Blashford last night.
A spokesperson said: “Thankfully no one was hurt and due to the quick attendance and action of firefighters and garage staff, the vehicle was moved away from the pumps and the fire was extinguished.
“The car was recovered to yard to allow for a clean-up of the forecourt.
“We always achieve more when we work as a team and the public are the most important part of this team."

They added: “Without your information on criminal activity passed to us in confidence we would not be able to identify offenders to disrupt and prosecute them as effectively.

In the same night, officers also spoke to victims of vehicle crime, where criminals have broken into vehicles in New Forest stealing power tools.
They provided them with property marking kits to protect their property going forward.
