Bags of dumped asbestos were discovered in the New Forest, as posted by police on social media, who are trying to tackle the alleged fly-tipping incident.
The dumped fibres were found at Bramble Hill Walk and Roundhill car parks, though the areas where the asbestos was found has now been taped off.
The New Forest Police Facebook account posted the photos in hopes of finding more information, leaving users in the comments bewildered as to why they had been dumped there.

The account on Facebook said: "Do you recognise the packaging?
"Have you paid someone to dispose of it expecting it to be dealt with correctly but actually it's just been dumped?"
The post then noted that residents in the New Forest see tackling fly tipping as a top priority, asking anyone with more information to contact the police.
