New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to nine Southampton eateries - and it's good news for them all.
The restaurants, cafes, canteens and takeaways, including several of the popular eateries overlooking the city walls at Westquay and some Oxford Street venues, have all been handed five star ratings, the highest possible accolade.
Inspectors from the Food Standards Agency (FSA) were impressed during their new year visits to these Southampton venues, which took place between January 3 and 7.
