Brady Wilkinson, project executive at Rivendale Products, said: "Qwickhose hasn’t been on the market for long, so for our design to receive these accolades is an inditement of the innovative flair of our design team and the work that has gone into making Qwickhose a robust ‘fit-for-purpose’ solution.
"Dovetailing with this recognition by the London Design Awards is the feedback from our customers detailing how Qwickhose is the product they never knew they needed, but has become essential to everyday gardening/housing projects and also the trade, who needed something stronger for the job on an every-day basis."
The company has a busy year ahead, with plans to exhibit at several events.
These include The Garden Press Event on Tuesday, February 18 at the Business Design Centre in London; the BBC Gardeners' World Spring Fair from May 2 to May 4 in Beaulieu; BBC Gardeners' World Live from June 12 to June 16 at the NEC in Birmingham; and Glee from September 16 to September 18, also at the NEC in Birmingham.
