Snow has been spotted falling in the New Forest as a yellow weather warning remains in place.
The Met Office predicted rainfall in Southampton throughout the day, but a video taken by @JoshuaPressLDN in Hordle shows snow scattering across the grass.
Flakes fly across the camera in the video, but the snow does not appear to set, likely due to the rain falling at the same time which has made the ground sodden.

In Southampton, the weather experts forecast sleet showers between 5pm and 9pm.
A yellow weather warning remains in place until midnight tonight.
The Met Office has issued the following advice: "Snowy, wintry weather can cause delays and make driving conditions dangerous, so to keep yourself and others safe: plan your route, checking for delays and road closures, amending your travel plans if necessary; if driving, leave more time to prepare and check your car before setting off."
