People in Southampton can rejoice as Portsmouth has been named in the top 10 worst places to live in England.
Hampshire's eastern city has taken the bronze position in the rankings by well-known blog website, iLiveHere, which has been ranking towns and cities in England since 2006.
With the South Coast derby being one of the largest and most renowned in the UK, Portsmouth is known for being the historic rival of Southampton.
The ranking reads: “This maybe a bit harsh, but we have put Portsmouth in the bronze position purely because we personally hate it.

"If your only option is the spoons or similar chain pub, congratulations, you’ve washed up in a ‘Portsmouth’.
“The only good thing this Hampshire hole has going for it is a good road network back to liberal civilisation like Brighton and the ability to sail off into the sunset.”
Many Southampton residents will be pleased to know the city did not place anywhere near the website's rankings.
