Singers from across Hampshire can take part in a forthcoming workshop dedicated to Handel's oratorio 'Saul'.

The event, organised by the Romsey Choral Society, is set for Saturday, January 25, at the Romsey Methodist Church.

From 10.30am to 4.30pm, attendees will delve into the dramatic and colourful narrative of the first king of Israel and his relationship with David.

Those attending the workshop will also have the chance to temporarily join the choir for the concert, which will be accompanied by the professional Monteverdi String Orchestra.
