Eden Vauxhall has helped collect donations for local food banks.

In December, Eden Motor Group, which operates Eden Vauxhall at Speedfields Park, Fareham, united its dealerships across the southwest to support communities during the festive season.

It partnered with the Trussell Trust to collect food donations for local food banks.

The initiative aimed to bring "hope and assistance" to families in need.

Throughout December, Eden Motor Group locations became collection points, inviting customers and residents to donate non-perishable food items.

The response was positive, with a variety of goods donated.

On collection day, Eden Motor Group staff dressed in festive costumes and joined a convoy of branded vehicles to transport the donations.

The convoy, which started from three main hubs—Reading, Exeter, and Swindon—delivered the items directly to local food banks.

Graeme Potts, chief executive of Eden Motor Group, said: "The partnership with the Trussell Trust highlights Eden Motor Group’s commitment to tackling food insecurity."

He added: "The charity’s mission to end hunger aligns with Eden’s values, making this initiative a meaningful and impactful endeavour."

The donations will provide essential support to families and individuals facing difficult circumstances.

The initiative was a reminder of the importance of community solidarity, especially during tough times.

This was not the only way Eden Motor Group is planning to give back.

The company aims to continue its charitable efforts in the coming year and find new ways to support local communities.
