More than £500 worth of alcohol has been stolen following 'high value thefts from B&M and Waitrose' in Warminster.

Warminster Police took to Facebook to share the news of the thefts which were discovered while officers where conducting patrols.

A spokesperson posted: "PS SADOWSKI & PC FAIRLEY have been out this evening conducting high visibility patrols to tackle theft. Multiple businesses have been visited and crime prevention advice has been shared.

"Earlier in the shift our response colleagues responded to a report of high value thefts from B&M and Waitrose. In total £536.49 worth of alcohol was stolen."

The team arrested two males on suspicion of theft.

All goods were recovered.
