The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:

DEWAYNE NESTOR, 39, of Doggett Road, London, pleaded guilty to harassing a woman by sending her 677 unwanted messages between March 7, 2023, and July 1, 2023. He will next appear before the same court on January 10.

SURINDER SINGH, 45, of Tenterton Avenue, Southampton, admitted drink driving on Newtown Road, Southampton on July 15, 2024, when he was found with 98 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. He will next appear before the same court on January 10.

FARRID RAJAB, 39, of Derby Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to stealing bottles of wine from Sainsbury’s in Bedford Place on July 21, 2024. He also admitted stealing products worth £72.88 from Boots in Portswood Road on August 13, 2024. He will next appear before the same court on March 26.

TYREECE CONSTABLE, 23, of Chilcomb Road, Southampton, admitted drug driving a Mercedes A200 on Chilcomb Road on September 17, 2024, when he was found to have a cannabinoid – a type of chemical that causes drug-like effects – in his blood. He was banned from driving for a year and handed a £120 fine. He must pay prosecution costs of £85 and a surcharge of £48.

STUART JOHNSTON, 46, of Middleton Gardens, Basingstoke, pleaded guilty to threatening a police sergeant in Basingstoke on Christmas Eve. He also admitted to failing to provide a specimen of blood for analysis on the same date. He will next appear before Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on February 10.

JAMES HYLAND, 52, of Maffey Court, Botley, admitted two counts of drug driving on Townhill Way, West End on January 26, 2024, where he was found with cocaine and a metabolite of cocaine in his blood. He also admitted using a vehicle without insurance on the same road on January 27, 2024. He was disqualified from driving for 16 months and ordered to pay a £200 fine. He must also pay £85 prosecution costs and £80 surcharge.
