Pet owners have been warned that two cruise ships will set off fireworks as they sail out of Southampton this weekend.
A notice from authorities at Southampton's docks says that two P&O cruise liners will hold quayside displays as they depart Southampton.
Arcadia will set off fireworks tonight (January 3) as it leaves Queen Elizabeth II terminal for a 99-day world cruise that stops off in Portugal, USA, Hawaii, New Zealand, Australia and more.

The vessel will next return to Southampton on April 13 as it finishes its adults-only western circumnavigation.
On January 6, Aurora will put on a display as it leaves Ocean Cruise Terminal.
The ship will then head to the Canary Islands, Barbados, Brazil, Costa Rica and more on an ‘Amazon and Caribbean exploration’ route.
The Harbour Master at ABP has warned vessels not directly involved with the display to remain at a safe distance from the cruise ships.
