Dog walkers and families have been warned after "large pellets" containing an unknown substance were dropped in a popular park.
Staff at West End Parish Council said they saw a person placing the unknown substance across Hatch Grange on Wednesday.
Upon investigation, the items looked like big pellets, but its contents are unknown.
They have since been collected.

A spokesperson for the council said: “Someone was seen placing an unknown substance throughout Hatch Grange.
“The items looked like large pellets.
“The incident is being reported but dog walkers and those walking with young children, please be extra vigilant."
