A woman has pleaded guilty to a series of shoplifting incidents in Fareham in which more than £1,500 worth of goods were stolen.
Deborah Holmes, aged 46, appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on January 2, where she admitted seven counts of shoplifting.
The court heard she stole a total of £1,527.90 of goods from four stores between October 26 and December 18, 2024.
Her biggest haul was £368.15 worth of items from Co-op in Warsash Road on December 1.

She also stole from Co-op on Highlands Road in Fareham as well as the BP and Co-op stores on Bridge Road in Park Gate during the spree.
Her final theft before being apprehended, the court heard, was on December 18.
Holmes, of Wallisdean Avenue in Portsmouth, was remanded in custody and will appear at Portsmouth Crown Court for sentencing on January 31.
