The Met Office has updated its yellow weather warning in Hampshire and is now warning of snow and ice this weekend.
Initially, the Met Office was warning only of snow in parts of Hampshire but have now updated the yellow warning to say that ice is also likely to be present.
Drivers are being warned to take extra care when driving as temperatures are expected to plummet to -2C on Saturday.
The yellow weather warning starts on Saturday and runs through to Monday with large parts of Romsey and Winchester included in the warning area.

A Met Office spokesperson said: “Whilst there is some uncertainty, any snow in southern and eastern parts of England, especially at low levels, will probably be rather transient before turning back to rain.
“A fairly rapid thaw of lying snow is possible later on Sunday, although exactly how far north the rapid thaw will reach remains uncertain at this stage.”
