The Michelmersh Silver Band has raised Christmas spirits across Romsey.
The band played more than 26 hours of traditional carols and Christmas music across 16 events in December.
This included two sell-out shows at the Plaza Theatre.
They also led the Rotary Carol Service in Romsey Market Place, which attracted hundreds of attendees, many of whom enjoyed an impromptu concert of popular Christmas songs by the band after the service.

Continuing a tradition over a century old, the band toured Michelmersh on Christmas Eve, playing at private homes before concluding a community carolling session at The Michelmersh Barns.
Earlier in the month, the band’s Christmas shows, compered by Mark Ponsford, had capacity audiences.
Having sold out by the end of August, the 2025 Christmas Shows have now been extended to three nights, with over 430 tickets already sold for next year.
Tickets for the MSB Christmas Shows 2025 are on sale now via the Plaza Theatre website.
