Several influential and hardworking Hampshire residents have been recognised in the King's New Year’s Honours List.

The annual roll-call recognises people across the UK who make outstanding contributions to society, either through their job or their role as a volunteer.

The 2025 list features more than 30 people from Hampshire who have been recognised for their work.

They include TV gardening expert Alan Titchmarsh, former Southampton MP Alan Whitehead, and Paralympic swimmer Alice Tai - a three-time gold medallist.
