A man has been slapped with a hefty fine for driving at speed on the M27.

Martin Florin Constantin, 46, was caught at 121mph on the westbound side of the motorway near Fareham.

The speed limit was 70mph.

An automatic camera device flashed Constantin between junction 10 and nine on August 16, 2023.

Constantin, of Windham Road, Bournemouth, was banned from driving for three months during a single justice procedure hearing at Southampton Magistrates’ Court.

He was ordered to pay a £660 fine, on top of £110 prosecution costs and a £264 surcharge.

This must be paid by January 1, 2025.
