A busy mum said she battled through a lack of confidence by finding her spark with a personal stylist for parents.
Katie Round, 32, from Southampton found herself struggling physically and mentally after the birth of her second child in April 2023.
It was only after a friend showed her a photograph from her 30th birthday that she had realisation that she was not happy with her current body.
“I felt a new sense of confidence from entering my 30th year on this planet,” Katie said.
“Yet I’d lost myself completely along the way and let the toll of life cling onto my body and weigh me down.
“Having a son and now a daughter that would look up to me was the motivation I needed to become the best version of myself, to make sure I was fit, healthy and able to play with them and watch them grown up.”

In 10 months, she lost a total of three stone and took up running to maintain that physique.
“I’d worked so hard to lose the weight I found all my previous wardrobe was hanging off me,” Katie said.
She then explained that she walked into shops ‘blind’ to pick out new clothes, but was quickly disappointed with what she had bought.
Katie then turned to stylist Jennifer Jones.

Katie said: “I’d previously thought a stylist was so out of reach and something not for the likes of me, but as I contemplated the idea and read other women’s reviews, I was sold on the dream of saving time and money in the future, by pausing and having a full wardrobe revamp now.”
A wardrobe overhaul style package meant that Jennifer went through Katie’s current clothes to create outfits from existing pieces, while decluttering items that did not make the cut.
Katie said: “We went through every item of clothing I owned and I was left with a wardrobe that fitted me, gave me excitement to get dressed each day and to try the new outfit challenge. The whole experience has been life changing.”
Stylist Jennifer Jones said: “It’s my mission to empower mums who are stuck in a rut and crave a refresh and want to express their personality through their wardrobe.”
