Plenty of picturesque postbox toppers have found their way onto streets across the New Forest, Southampton and beyond this winter.
The knitted phenomena have become more and more popular over recent years as people look to hone their crafting skills throughout the coldest season of the year.
While there have been many Christmas-themed toppers making the Daily Echo Camera Club Facebook group, crocheted arts celebrating other occasions blew the minds of residents too.

One commentator on Facebook called the fox 'fabulous' as it sat smiling on top of the postbox.

A commentator said they 'loved this' on Facebook as it was a great way to repurpose a disused stump.
