Primary school children got a special sneak preview of a Christmas show ahead of its run over the Christmas period.

The Point and The House of Many Moons' Christmas production, Cinderella's Wellies, captivated students from Norwood Primary School during an exclusive preview performance.

The show began at The Point, Eastleigh, on Saturday, December 21, and will run until Tuesday, December 31.

Artistic director Charlotte Hall said: "We’re thrilled to offer young people free access to theatre.

Norwood Primary School pupils were full of excitement after experiencing the show.

One student shared: "It was like a fairy tale mixed with a movie," while another added: "My favourite part was when Cinderella got poofed away."

Another pupil commented: "It was pretty special to me because it looked so realistic."

Cinderella’s Wellies reimagines the timeless fairy tale with a unique twist, a time-travelling adventure set to an 80s-inspired score.

Featuring musical numbers, puppetry and all the beloved moments from the classic Cinderella story, the production is sure to bring laughter, joy and a dose of holiday magic to audiences.
