Junior officers have completed their training at the Defence College of Technical Training's Royal Naval Air Engineering and Survival Equipment School.
The course prepares air engineer officers for their first roles in the Fleet Air Arm.
The officers began their training at Britannia Royal Naval College Dartmouth, where they spent 29 weeks learning core naval values, standards and defence studies.

Junior Officers from AE SEMC 23-001 with the Worshipful Company of Fuellers, Junior Warden Louise Thompson (Image: Matthew Hibberd) They then joined HMS Sultan in Gosport in January 2024 for the SEMC(AE) course, which includes an aircraft system technical phase and a simulated squadron operation.
After successfully completing the course, the officers will take up assignments at RNAS Culdrose, RNAS Yeovilton and RAF Marham.
Sub Lieutenant Kellan Reed, who will work with F-35 Lightning jets at RAF Marham, said: "The engineering training since I joined Sultan has been good.
"The staff here have been positive and given good advice, some of them will remain mentors, not just for this year, but throughout my career."
