A STORE manager in Bournemouth was hospitalised after being assaulted during a disturbance at their shop.
Dorset Police received a report at 3.48pm on Wednesday, December 12, about an incident at a shop in Cunningham Crescent.
It was reported that a man entered the premises, smashed bottles, and assaulted a member of staff.
The store manager sustained a leg injury during the incident and required hospital treatment.
Following police enquiries, 30-year-old Keelan Craig Maidement, of Bournemouth, was arrested in connection with the incident.
He has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Maidement is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday, December 20, 2024.
