These animals are looking for a forever home in Hampshire this Christmas - could you help them find one?

All of the lovable pets below are currently in the care of the Stubbington Ark Rescue Centre and are in need of a new owner to give them a home this festive season.

Sheldon

(Image: The Ark) Two-year-old Rottweiler Sheldon is a big playful lump and a joy to be around.

After not being exposed to much of the outside world before coming to the Ark, understandably Sheldon can be worried by strangers and some dogs.

He is good with the people he knows and makes friends quickly but he can be reactive to strangers and can sometimes bark and lunge.

Brian & Keith

(Image: The Ark) Cockerels Brian and Keith love spending their day outdoors digging in their enrichment trays, foraging for insects but will be sure to let you know when it's bedtime when they will often be found by their pen waiting to find a comfy perch for the night.

Cara & Maya

(Image: The Ark) Five-year-old Cara is six-year-old Maya’s daughter and are a very friendly pair who are well bonded and looking for their forever home together.

They are both affectionate and will lean in for cuddles and a belly rub when relaxed.

They are both very calm in most situations and have been a joy to work with according to Ark staff - they are also very playful and like a good run off lead and love to chase a tennis ball.

Rolo

(Image: The Ark) This timid two-year-old Guinea Pig needs a friend to help him feel more secure and pull him out of his shell.

Rolo loves a snuffle matt and chatting first thing in the morning while waiting for his breakfast. He is a very nervous piggy and does not like sudden movements but is sweet once he gets comfortable.

Moe

(Image: The Ark) At just six months old, Moe is quite a shy boy so he will need a family that will take things slow when it comes to interacting, but once he’s found a companion the Ark team said he will flourish.
