Dozens of schools are set to be closed today due to the water outage affecting parts of Southampton, the New Forest, Romsey and Eastleigh.
It comes as an issue at Testwood Water Treatment Works led to an automated shutdown of the reservoir due to water quality concerns. It has been refilled and supply is expected to be restored to some of tens of thousands of properties affected later today.
