Tens of thousands of homes are still without water this morning as the affected reservoir is being refilled with drinking water.
Around 73,000 properties across Southampton, the New Forest, Romsey and Eastleigh remain affected by the huge water outage, which was triggered by an automated shutdown at a reservoir at Testwood Water Treatment Works on Tuesday.
The supply to homes and businesses started to dry up on Wednesday, with householders first noticing low pressure before the taps went dry.

Southern Water say they are working on a fix with many expected to be reconnected later today.
A spokesperon said: "Overnight our teams have fixed the problem at the Testwood Water Supply Works and restarted the site.
"We're now filling up the reservoir again with drinking water, ready to restore supply. This is a gradual process which must be done carefully and safely, but customers will start to be reconnected later today.
"We are so sorry for the disruption this has caused you."
They added that they were opening bottled water stations across the region and customers would be updated on their locations and opening times from 8am.
Bottled water has been delivered to care homes and customers on the Priority Services Register overnight, but many with medical needs and young children say they are still without deliveries.
