I've read about more flats due for the Dolphin Hotel car park and, quite frankly, I am horrified!
Does Southampton City Council realise they have a huge waiting list? Southampton is drowning in students. Multi-occupancy has ruined most of the city; it’s blighted the area.
When we lived in Portswood, the mattresses, cans, bottles, etc., were rife—not to forget the noise! I feel for those poor folk on the housing list.
We were appalled at the council’s decision to defer applicants until the end of January! And you have to be three years in the city to be on the housing list.
Many Labour councils are pretty useless—spending precious money on a logo? Sounds like Starmer’s mob: give it out, but drain farmers and pensioners!
Maggie - I tell it how it is!
