More than £7,000 was raised for a cancer charity at a Christmas concert.

The concert, held at St Peter’s Church in Titchfield, saw over 200 people in attendance.

Actor Sarah Parish, broadcaster Sam Fraser and HM Lord-Lieutenant Nigel Atkinson were among the special guests.

Money raised will go towards Wessex Cancer Support, which relies entirely on donations to support thousands of people each year.

The CEO of Wessex Cancer Support, Rachel Billsberry-Grass, said: "It was such a wonderful evening and we are so thankful to everyone who was involved.

"The performers were outstanding and we are really grateful to them for giving up their time to support us."
