A charity has received a donation of 200 advent calendars from a local business.

Rainbow Trust Children's Charity, which supports families with seriously ill children, received the calendars from Quickdraw Supplies.

The calendars will be distributed to families the charity supports.

The donation was made by Steve, the owner of Quickdraw Supplies, who has been a strong supporter of the charity.

Oonagh Goodman, director of fundraising and marketing at Rainbow Trust, said: "We are incredibly grateful for the donation from Quickdraw supplies. Their generosity ensures that families can enjoy special moments this holiday season, despite the challenging circumstances they face.

"Steve and his team have shown immense kindness, and we are so thankful."

Quickdraw also donated Christmas crackers for the Rainbow Trust's drop-in Christmas party and some toy gift sets.

The charity provides practical and emotional support to families with a seriously ill child.
