A band has celebrated its 500th gig.
The Stokes Bay Strummers played their 500th gig at St Faith's Hub on the evening of Thursday, December 12.
The band, which has been performing since August 2011, played at the 'Chill and Chat' evening. The event saw visitors treated to a two-course Christmas dinner before the band took to the stage.
The Stokes Bay Strummers played a mix of hits from the 1960s and 1970s, as well as some well-known Christmas songs. The band has raised more than £33,000 for local charities over the years.
St Faith's Hub is the band's chosen charity for 2024, and they have decided to continue supporting the charity in 2025. During the gig, the band presented a cheque to the hub, bringing the total to more than £3,000.
A spokesperson for the band said: "A good time was had by all and it was fitting this milestone gig was played at such a great charity."
