A man has been charged with assaulting a steward at Southampton FC during the disastrous 5-0 loss against Tottenham Hotspurs.
Kyle Alan Roy Cook, 20, of Redbridge Hill, Southampton, is due to appear in court after the game on Sunday night.
Police said the assault is alleged to have happened during the game after a steward challenged a man about his behaviour.
A police spokesperson said: "Kyle Alan Roy Cook, 20, of Redbridge Hill, Southampton, has been charged with assault by beating and has been bailed to appear before Southampton Magistrates' Court on February 11."

A second man arrested on suspicion of common assault linked to the same incident has been released with no further action, police said.
Southampton FC sacked manager Russell Martin in the aftermath of the game with the Premier League side bottom of the table.
