The following cases were heard at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court:
KRISTAL GEARY, 34, of Millbrook Road West, Southampton, pleaded guilty to jointly stealing goods valued at £253.62 from Co-op in Portsmouth, jointly stealing food and drink valued at £91.25 from Co-op in Portsmouth, jointly stealing goods valued at £270 from Savers in Portsmouth, and jointly stealing items valued at £310.20 from Southern Co-op in Portsmouth. Six-month community order.
JASON TURNER, 39, of Tukes Avenue, Gosport, pleaded guilty to stalking involving serious alarm and distress in Portsmouth between September 3 2024 and September 22 2024. Remanded in custody to appear at the same court on December 23 2024.
DEAN NEWTON, 33, of Grange Lane, Gosport, pleaded guilty to stalking without fear/alarm/distress at Mayfield Road, Gosport between September 20 2024 and September 23 2024. One-year community order, fined £652 with £85 costs and £114 victim services surcharge.
DANNY SMITH, 40, of St Margaret's Lane, Fareham, pleaded guilty to threatening behaviour at Fareham on October 13 2024 and three counts of assault by beating. Remanded on conditional bail until February 2 2025.
ROBERT WATKINS, 38, of Beryton Road, Gosport, pleaded guilty to possessing controlled Class B drug at Gosport on April 29 2024. Detained only until court rose because of time already spent in custody.
KARLTON MCCLEAN, 46, of Nashe Way, Fareham, pleaded guilty to criminal damage, failing to answer bail, possessing a knife/sharp pointed blade in a public place, and threatening someone with a sharp pointed blade. Remanded in custody to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on February 7 2025.
KERRYN AUSTIN, 45, of Rowner Lane, Gosport, pleaded guilty to stealing items valued at £54.78 from Home Bargains on September 12 2024. One-year conditional discharge.
