HUGE queues have formed as hundreds of people have flocked to Winchester to experience the world-famous Christmas market.
Chaos descended upon Winchester this afternoon as hundreds of people headed to the Christmas market at Winchester Cathedral.
On Saturday, December 14, anyone hoping to enter Winchester Cathedral's Christmas Market faced a lengthy queue before they could even browse the stalls.
A video shows hundreds of people queuing from the market's entrance on Cathedral Close, weaving in front of the Cathedral itself, and towards High Street.

The queue itself is fast moving and those waiting patiently in line are not doing so for long according to a Chronicle reporter at the scene who said: "despite the queue, it's only taken about five minutes to get in."
The cathedral's Christmas market features stalls from companies across Hampshire, as well as the wider country and expects to greet more than 130,000 visitors throughout the festive period.
It officially opened on November 22 and will be here until December 22 for a month-long of festive shopping and food.
The market has been annually held on the Cathedral grounds since 2006 and has seen plenty of success over the years.
