The celebrity competition show Strictly Come Dancing has become one of the biggest and most beloved shows since it started in 2004.
Every Saturday night from mid-September to December, millions of viewers tune into the BBC to see how well some of the UK’s most popular celebrities can dance.
Throughout its 20 years, Strictly has seen everyone from the likes of comedian Bill Bailey, Countdown star Carol Vorderman, newsreader Fiona Phillips to Spice Girl singer Emma Bunton all take to the ballroom floor.
Along with its yearly class of celebrities, the BBC show sees many professional dancers and a handful of expert judges appear all earning different sums of salary.
How much do Strictly Come Dancing judges get paid?
According to the Express, current judges, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke are paid a range of amounts.
It is understood that Revel Horwood earns a starting salary of £200,000 per series while Mabuse earns a similar amount also around £200,000.
Lead judge Ballas earns is reported to earn slightly more, with a salary of £250,000 per series while Du Beke earns between £175,000 to £200,000 for being a Strictly judge.
How much do Strictly Come Dancing celebrity contestants get paid?
Celebrities who appear on Strictly earn a range of money, with reports suggesting that all stars earn a minimum of £25,000 and gain more depending on how long they remain in the show.
The Express shares that after week four, celebrities earn around an extra £40,000 and if they make it to the semi-finals, they can get a further £15,000.
The winner of every Strictly series not only gets the Glitterball trophy but also a bonus of £100,000.

The BBC does not share the exact amount professional dancers earn per series, but it’s reported they can earn from £35,000 to £50,000.
They also earn extra amounts for the Strictly Live tour and further projects they may appear in.
