Two Slimming World groups in West End and Chartwell Green have donated more than £1,000 to a visual impairment charity.
Slimming World consultant, Kay Godwin, rallied both of her groups to raise money for Open Sight.
Kay said: "At the beginning of October both of my Slimming World Groups started fundraising for Open Sight at the end of November we had collected £650."
Thanks to the Big Give campaign, their support has been doubled, making an even greater impact.
She continued: "The total the charity will benefit from more than £1000.
"The last three years we have helped Open Sight and it's been a real pleasure to see how our donations can help."

Head of income generation at Open Sight, Gemma McKnight added: "We are incredibly grateful to the Slimming World groups in West End and Chartwell for their generous contribution of £630.
"This vital funding helps us continue providing essential services for people with vision impairments, empowering them to lead confident and independent lives.
"Together, we’re transforming lives, and we deeply appreciate their kindness and commitment to our mission."
