Police have seized three knives and arrested a teen after an 'altercation' outside the Apple Store in Westquay.
At around 6.30pm on Saturday, December 7, an altercation took place between a group of people outside of the Apple store before they dispersed.
Officers attended and carried out a search of the area.
A 17-year-old boy was located nearby and three knives were found in the vicinity, all of which were seized by police.
The 17-year-old boy, who is from Southampton, was arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of a knife blade pointed article in a public place.
He has been released from custody on conditional police bail to allow for further enquiries to continue.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.

A spokesperson added: "As part of our ongoing enquiries we would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened.
"We believe the shopping centre will have been busy at the time of the altercation and that a number of people will have seen what took place.
"Were you in Westquay Shopping Centre at around 6.30pm on Saturday, December 7? Did you see the altercation, the moments leading up to it, or people running from the area afterwards?
"If so, we would really like to hear from you as you may have valuable information to help us progress our investigation.
"No injuries have been reported as a result of this incident, however we are keen to hear from anybody who was involved, particularly if they were injured, so that we can make sure they are ok and getting any help they may need."
