Wayne Baldwin, 52, of no fixed address, was sentenced for assaulting an emergency worker and committing assault by beating on October 28, 2023 in High Road, Southampton.

He was given a three-month jail term, suspended for 12 months. Baldwin was resentenced to the term after breaching an original suspended sentence.

Elliott Yourdi-Read, 23, of Hardwicke Close, Southampton, admitted to drug-driving after consuming cannabis and cocaine in Northgate Lane, Beaulieu, on July 1 this year.

He was found to have Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol at 8.4 micrograms per litre of blood, exceeding the limit of two, and 216 micrograms of Benzoylecgonine, a cocaine breakdown product, per litre of blood, exceeding the limit of 50.

Yourdi-Read also admitted to speeding at more than 40mph in a Vauxhall Astra on the same day.

He was banned from driving until the next hearing on March 6, when the length of the ban will be decided. He was released on bail.

Robbie Jones, 30, of HMP Winchester, admitted stealing Fairy pods worth£57.75 from Sainsbury's in Southampton. He was fined £100.

Michael Higgins, 49, of Chilcomb Road, Southampton, admitted drink-driving in Peartree Avenue, Southampton, on November 20.

He had 96 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The limit is 35.

He was handed an interim ban and will be sentenced on March 6. He was released on bail.

Pawel Kowalski, 47, of Suffolk Avenue, Southampton, admitted drink-driving on November 22, while driving a black Mercedes on Drummond Drive, Southampton.

A breath test revealed he had 47 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

He was fined £461, ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a £184 victim surcharge. A driving disqualification of 14 months was imposed.
