The Mayor of New Milton hosted a well-attended carol service.
Councillor Alvin Reid led the event at St Mary Magdalene Church, New Milton, on Saturday, December 7.
Around 150 people, including town councillors and civic guests, enjoyed musical performances and Christmas readings.
The Tullagh Junior Strings Ensemble, directed by Jo Handy, performed Christmas songs, encouraging public participation.
Cllr Alvin Reid said: "The Carol Service was an amazing occasion. Thank you to everyone for being so generous for my nominated charity, New Milton Men’s Shed.
"New Milton Men's Shed is a great place for people to socialise, share skills and knowledge and good times. For many shedders, they find a renewed sense of purpose, all within a safe and welcoming space."
The New Forest Community Choir, conducted by Kirsteen Freer, delivered an a cappella presentation with 25 members singing both traditional and modern Christmas songs.
The congregation appreciated the service, and a total of £388 was collected in the retiring collection.
