A Bluestar bus has been involved in a crash in Southampton.

The bus collided with a taxi in Southampton city centre on Wednesday.

Bluestar confirmed the number 11 service – which transports passengers between Albion Place and Calmore – was involved in a collision with another vehicle, resulting in minor damage to the bus.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

In a statement, Richard Tyldsley, Bluestar general manager, said: “One of our route 11 buses was involved in a minor collision with another vehicle on Wednesday morning. There were no reported injuries. 

“We are carrying out an investigation into to circumstances behind the incident.”
