Police believe that a fight involving poles and hammers broke out after two men tried to ask a 15-year-old girl to get into their car.
During the fight on North East Road outside One Stop, one man was reportedly hit with a car, and at the scene, officers located a man in his 20s and a man in his 50s with minor injuries.
Four men were involved and police were called shortly after 6.40pm.
Weapons such as poles and hammers were seen by witnesses.

Police were told that the fight had taken place after a 15-year-old girl reported that two males had asked her to get into their car.
A 15-year-old boy from Southampton has been arrested on suspicion of attempted kidnap, section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent, affray and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
A cordon was put in place on North East Road and was lifted at 9.40pm.
One ambulance also attended the scene as the road was closed to both drivers and pedestrians.

CCTV images have been released of cars driving past the incident between 6.45pm and 6.48pm on North East Road.
Hampshire police said: "We appreciate that the images of the vehicles are not clear, however we believe the drivers will know who they are if they were in the area at the time.
"Officers investigating this incident would also like to hear from anyone who was in the North East Road area between 6pm and 7.30pm yesterday evening.
"Were you in the area? Did you see the altercation, the moments leading up to it or the aftermath? Perhaps you were driving through the area and have dash cam footage that may have captured something?"
