A few motorway closures may impact Southampton drivers this weekend according to National Highways.
These will be along the M3 and M27 during the late evening and early hours of the morning.
If you're planning to travel along these roads from Southampton it would be best to take note of different diversions that may be in place.
Here are the closures along the M3 and M27 that will be in place during the weekend of Friday, December 13 to Sunday, December 15.
Hampshire M3 and M27 closures for Friday, December 13
M3
On the M3 eastbound, there will be an entry slip road closure at Junction 1.
This will take place between 11pm on Friday and 5.30am on Saturday so that urgent stud replacement can occur.
M27
On the M27 eastbound there will be exit and entry slip road closures at Junction 5, as well as exit slip road closures at Junction 7 and 8.
This will take place from 10pm on Friday until 6am on Saturday for major resurfacing work.

M3
There are no closures scheduled for the M3 on this day.
M27
On the M27 eastbound there will be exit and entry slip road closures at Junction 5, as well as exit slip road closures at Junction 7 and 8.
This will take place from 10pm on Saturday until 6am on Sunday for major resurfacing work.

M3
There are no closures scheduled for the M3 on this day.

On the M27 eastbound there will be exit and entry slip road closures at Junction 5, as well as exit slip road closures at Junction 7 and 8.
This will take place from 10pm on Sunday until 6am on Monday for major resurfacing work.
