Gosport High Street boasts its lowest number of empty shops in years.
The high street currently enjoys an 86 per cent occupancy rate, with several new independent shops opening recently.
Notable newcomers include P&J's Bargains, RE5 Customs, Temperance Health, and Craftaway.
High street staples Bonmarché and McDonald's are also set to open soon.
P&J's, at 55 High Street, is the South Coast's largest "best before" food and drink clearance warehouse, now with a shopfront.
RE5 Customs, at 105 Stoke Road, is a veteran-owned trainer refurbishment company now operating from its first shop.
Temperance Health, at 25 High Street, is a herbalist café and shop, while Craftaway, at 79 Stoke Road, offers a creative space with workshops and supplies.
Free family entertainment continues in the town centre every Saturday until the end of December.
Activities, running from 11am to 3pm, include free go-karting, face painting, character meet-and-greets, and Christmas carols.
