A man has denied flashing a woman while he was driving on the M27.
Jon Maxwell, 40, entered a not guilty plea at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.
It comes after police reported that on July 20, around 8.40am, a man in a black pick-up vehicle exposed himself to a woman also driving on the carriageway that day.
Both were driving eastbound and the incident allegedly occurred between junction nine near Park Gate and junctions 11 and 12 near Portsmouth.
Maxwell, of Queens Road, Waterlooville, was charged with indecent exposure in October.
He will next appear before the same court on May 9, 2025.
Speaking after he was charged, a spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: “We encourage anyone who has been affected by this type of crime to report this to police on 101, where you can speak to a police officer in confidence.”
