An insurance broker is helping to spread festive magic by giving gifts to children who need them the most.
Howden Eastleigh is working with the local Cash4Kids branch to ensure children wake up with presents to open on Christmas day.
Across the UK, thousands of children face the risk of not receiving gifts as many families cannot afford the luxury.
The Mission Christmas initiative by Cash4Kids aims to ensure every child gets to celebrate with a present.
The Howden Eastleigh team has decorated their Christmas tree with gift tags, each containing a child's age and a present request.
Howden aims to positively impact the community with its initiatives.
John Chapman, client service manager at Howden Eastleigh said: "At Howden, we’re firm believers that everyone deserves to celebrate Christmas, however they see fit. We’re hoping that our wonderful community will join us in donating as many presents as possible to help complete Mission Christmas and unwrap the gift of smiles this year.
"All you need to do is pop into branch and collect a tag and buy a gift that matches what’s on the tag and bring it back into branch, to place under the tree. We’ll donate these to the local Cash4Kids drop off point, in time for Christmas. By doing a simple act of kindness, which is what this season is all about, you can help make a local child’s Christmas wish come true!"
In addition to supporting the Cash4Kids initiative, the Howden Eastleigh branch will host free mince pie mornings.
The Eastleigh branch is committed to serving the local community and causes that matter to them.
The insurance broker encourages people to visit their local branch to learn more about the ongoing initiatives and to contribute to the festive spirit.
People are welcome to reach out to the Eastleigh branch or visit in person to speak with a team member about how they can help.
Cash4Kids Mission Christmas is a national campaign that aims to improve the lives of disadvantaged children across the UK.
