A man from Totton has been charged with shoplifting following an incident at a Co-op store.
John David Arnold, 33, of Mortimer Close, appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Friday, December 6 to face the charge.
It comes after police received a report of a theft from the Co-op store on Rumbridge Street, Totton, on Saturday, November 30.

Police confirmed the 33-year-old was released on conditional bail and will appear in court next year.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: “Arnold was remanded on conditional bail to next appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Friday, September 12.”
