Students and teachers at Kilsyth Primary School are celebrating after receiving the Digital Schools Award.
The school was also recognised as a Digital Mentoring School for its dedication to enhancing digital education.
To commemorate their accomplishments, the school organised a Digital Schools Award ceremony earlier this month.
This event was attended by students, staff, politicians, and members of the parent council.
Headteacher Louise Duncan said: "This recognition as a Digital Mentoring School is a testament to our pupils and staff's hard work, creativity, and enthusiasm.
"We are excited to celebrate this achievement with our community and share what’s next in our digital learning journey."
During the ceremony, the Make It Happen Club representatives announced the winner of the App Design Challenge.
Louise Carberry was overjoyed to see her concept for a Save the Whale app brought to life.
Other students, including Lucas Carlin, Levi Robinson, Robyn MacDonald, Maci Wilson, Serene Jones, Maizie Such, Kayley MacInnes, Finn Cox, and Lily Sherwin, were also acknowledged with certificates for their ideas.
A film screening by P7 students showcased their visit to Sky Studios, and the school’s digital leaders shared an engaging presentation, outlining the future steps in Kilsyth Primary's digital journey.
Councillor Michael McBride, convener of education, said: "Kilsyth Primary is a shining example of how schools can embrace digital innovation to enhance learning and teaching.
"The Digital Schools Award and Mentoring accreditation highlight the exceptional work taking place here, and I look forward to seeing what the future holds for everyone at the school."
