A spirited boxing showdown recently took place between the Royal Navy and the Army.
The HMS Sultan Boxing Dinner Show featured a combined Royal Navy team from several shipping" target="_blank">ships, including HMS Sultan, Collingwood, Nelson, Heron, Richmond, Iron Duke, and Artful.
They faced off against personnel from the Corps of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) and guest fighters from Bronx Boxing Club.
The event showcased seven bouts, including one female match and six Army-Navy contests, all fought over three rounds.
The standout bout of the night was between AB Ceri Glover from HMS Sultan and CFN Zach Kaminski from REME, with Glover taking the victory.
The Royal Navy team was presented with the trophy by Captain Mark Hamilton, the Commanding Officer of HMS Sultan, as the night concluded.
Other VIPs included Captain Tim Davey and several local dignitaries and Defence industry representatives.
