MP Caroline Nokes has praised a ground-breaking new hair salon that caters specifically for neurodiverse clients.
The Romsey and Southampton North MP visited The Coven, in Bell Street, a safe space salon thought to be the first of its kind in the region.
During her visit, Mrs Nokes met with salon owner Verity Wall and observed the unique setup designed to provide a sensory-friendly experience.

The salon, which opened in October, features low lighting, a quiet atmosphere, and a patient, understanding team.
Ms Nokes said: "The calm environment, low lighting, and the team’s understanding approach were refreshing to see. It’s wonderful to see such an innovative and inclusive business in our community."
Owner Verity Wall, owner of The Coven, added: "It was lovely to meet Caroline and explain how we strive to make every customer feel comfortable and welcome. For many, getting a haircut can be a stressful experience, but we’re here to change that."
