AN inquest has opened into the death of a 9-month-old who died in hospital.
Little Dharshika Dhondi, of Parsonage Road, died at Southampton General Hospital on May 24, 2023, a court heard.
An inquest was opened into her death by area coroner Nicholas Walker on Friday, December 6.

Mr Walker said the infant was taken to hospital on May 24, 2023, in a state of cardiac arrest. Despite efforts, she died later that day.
A preliminary cause of death has been given as a craniocervical injury, an injury to the base of the skull.
Mr Walker adjourned the inquest to take place in Winchester on May 2 next year.
